Seahawks QB Sam Darnold said the time off helped the oblique injury he suffered early in the playoffs and he needs to manage it as practices start for the Super Bowl.

Rookie safety Nick Emmanwori suffered an ankle injury during the Seahawks' practice Wednesday at San Jose State University. The severity was not immediately known.
