The Apple Mac mini is one of those devices that gets nowhere near as much airtime as it deserves to. Considering it delivers on almost every front, including performance and price, it really deserves more credit. This deal is for the 256GB model, although the 512GB alternative is also discounted if you need more storage.

At only five inches square, it sits perfectly positioned on any desk without taking up too much room. This is the 256GB model, and with a $100 off, it's an absolute steal.

We'd highly recommend the Mac mini to anyone wanting macOS at home. Given the price, it's more affordable than the best MacBooks. It manages to combine power and affordability, happily gaining a place in our look at the best computers.

If we were being picky, then we'd say that the front USB-C ports could be faster and the power button placement is a little "awkward”. Minor criticism, though.

This version of the Mac mini has removable, modular storage compared to previous models' soldered-on components. That means you can easily upgrade to 512GB if you need to at a later date.
