The 2026 model of the MacBook Air 15 was recently released. It boasts the newest M5 chip, but the problem is that it'll set you back at least $1,249. If that's beyond your budget and you're happy with the M4 chip, then we'd recommend buying the MacBook Air 15-inch (M4), which is on sale at Amazon for only $1,099 (was $1,399).

In our Apple MacBook Air 15-inch (M4) review, we gave the laptop 4.5 out of 5 stars and said that "the best 15-inch laptop just got better." With cutting-edge Apple silicon, you're getting a whole lot of power in a super compact case. Even though this isn't the latest model, there's no compromising on power here.
We're big fans of the thin design, which is not only gorgeous to look at but also light enough to be one of the most portable laptops on the market. And if you were thinking that this design would compromise on the audio quality, think again. In fact, we found it to have some of the best speakers you'll find in a laptop.
The 15-inch display boasts Liquid Retina technology that makes it one of the best screens available. All types of work, web browsing, and video watching will look truly fantastic. We've not yet seen the full realization of Apple Intelligence, but this laptop has enough power to support it.
