Ireland weather: Met Eireann confirms highs of 19 degrees and where best of sunshine will hit

Met Eireann says temperatures will soar to 19 degrees in places over the coming days with "plenty of sunshine" to stick around too.
Today (April 5) will be dry and sunny with temperatures ranging between a very pleasant 11 and 18 degrees.
Tonight should be dry and clear, with some isolated misty conditions.

A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Dry and sunny today in most places. There'll be a little bit of cloud at times, mainly in southwestern coastal parts with perhaps one or two light showers there.
"Highest temperatures of 11 to 18 degrees, coolest in the east and northeast and warmest in the west. Breezy at times with moderate and occasionally gusty easterly winds, fresh at times, especially near coasts.
"Tonight will be dry and clear apart from a few isolated patches of mist. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 7 degrees, coldest in Ulster, with easterly winds gradually decreasing light to moderate."
Tomorrow (Sunday April 6) will see similar weather conditions, with an "odd spot of drizzle" in some places.
Met.ie says: "Sunday will be dry and sunny in most areas. Some cloud may encroach onto southwestern coastal parts at times, with perhaps the odd spot of drizzle there. Highest temperatures of 12 to 18 degrees, coolest in the east and warmest in the west and southwest with light to moderate east to southeast breezes."
Looking ahead, forecasters expect the weather to stay mainly dry with plenty of sunshine and a gradual increase of temperatures.
Monday (April 7) could see temperatures rise to 19 degrees.
The current forecast says: "Monday will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 13 to 18 or 19 degrees, coolest for southern and eastern coasts, with mostly light southeast breezes.
"Monday night will be dry with some mist or fog patches developing. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees with light variable breezes."
Tuesday (April 8) will see fog in the morning clear for another dry and sunny day:
"Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees with light southeast or variable breezes. Tuesday night will be cold with clear spells and light easterly breezes. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees."
Wednesday (April 9) will continue this pattern. Met.ie adds: "There'll be a bit more cloud over the eastern half of the country with moderate easterly winds and temperatures reaching 9 to 13 degrees. It will be warmer further west with highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees."
Thursday (April 10) and Friday (April 11) "will continue dry with temperatures reaching the mod to high teens."
