fromis_9’s Lee Nagyung takes on motorcycle license challenge inspired by her father

fromis_9 member Lee Nagyung revealed that she is currently preparing to obtain a motorcycle license, sharing a personal goal inspired by her father.

On April 16, a video released on the YouTube channel studiofromis_9 showed Lee Nagyung attempting a motorcycle driving lesson as part of her license preparation.

During the video, she explained her motivation, saying, “I have a goal. My father rides a bike,” adding, “I want to ride together with him while having conversations.” Her remark highlighted the personal reason behind her challenge.

She also drew attention with a lighthearted comment about engine capacity, saying, “Isn’t it something like 2500cc if it’s not too high?” revealing her unfamiliarity with motorcycle specifications and bringing laughter to the set.

In the training session with an instructor, Lee initially struggled with handling a relatively large motorcycle. However, she later adapted after practicing on a model commonly associated with delivery bikes, showing noticeable improvement in control and confidence.

The instructor praised her performance as lessons progressed, saying, “I think she can pass. It’s 100%,” expressing strong confidence in her ability to obtain the license.

After completing the session, Lee commented, “It wasn’t too difficult. I’ll try to get the license this time. Next time, I’ll bring it with me,” signaling her determination to follow through. She also shared another personal aspiration, saying she would like to carry her pet in a backpack and take them along on rides in the future.

Meanwhile, fromis_9 has been active in both domestic and international markets, recently releasing their first-ever Japanese EP on April 1, continuing their global activities.
