Leaked camera lens rings images show off purported colors of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 series

Apple are expected to announce not only the iPhone 17 and 17 Pro series handsets later this year, but also an alleged thinner and more pocket-friendly iPhone that the Cupertino-based company could call the iPhone 17 Air.

In a series of posts shared by esteemed leaker Sonny Dickson on Monday, we witnessed what appear to be the camera lens rings for the rear of each device, with a notable detail – some new colors that we haven’t seen before.

For the regular iPhone 17 series devices, we’re looking at what appear to be black, gray, silver, light blue, light green, and light purple colorways, while the iPhone 17 Pro series devices have what appear to be black, gray, silver, dark blue, and a snazzy new orange colorway.

The iPhone 17 Air, which is the wildcard device for this year, appears to have the fewest amount of color options, including black, silver, blue gray, and light gold.

Apple has used a type of blue like this for its Pro-line handsets before in its 15 Pro series devices, but this is the first time we’ve ever seen a copper-like orange color for these devices, assuming this is true. These devices are likely to have a titanium outer shell, just like the current generation.

Obviously, as this is just a leak, there’s no way to validate its authenticity until Apple actually unveils their new handsets later this year. There’s also still a lot of time before then, so Apple could change direction even if this did turn out to be true. For what it’s worth, Dickson touts a rather accurate Apple leaking record.
