HONOR has officially unveiled its flagship Magic9 series in China, with pre-orders starting from CNY 4,500 (~RM2,737) for the HONOR Magic9 Super Edition, CNY 5,000 (~RM3,041) for the base HONOR Magic9, and CNY 6,499 (~RM3,953) for the top-tier HONOR Magic9 Pro Max. Featuring 200MP ARRI cameras, up to the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and up to 11,000 mAh silicon carbon batteries, each phone delivers something for someone. 

Cinema-Grade Camera Systems and Accessories

The HONOR Magic9 Pro Max targets professional video and photography creators by integrating ARRI image science. It offers ARRI LogC3 10-bit recording, Wide Gamut 3 color space support, and dedicated ARRI cinematic color profile filters. HONOR is also introducing modular hardware options for the Pro Max, including an optional teleconverter kit with a 500mm attachment and a SmallRig camera cage with mounting points for grips, flashes, and microphones. The standard Magic9 and Super Edition also benefit from ARRI color tuning, the dedicated HONOR H1 imaging chip for 18.8 TOPS/watt AI processing, and compatibility with the G200 teleconverter attachment.

Performance and Long-lasting battery life

For performance and battery life, the Magic9 Pro Max features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip and an 8,800mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. The compact Magic9 packs a 6.37-inch display and an 8,000mAh battery into an 8.5mm body. 

Meanwhile, the Magic9 Super Edition features a massive 11,000mAh battery while maintaining an 8.1mm profile and 227g weight. To handle sustained workloads, the Super Edition incorporates a 30,000 rpm active cooling fan and vapor chamber capable of dissipating 12W of heat. 

Both the Magic9 and Super Edition are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and feature seamless cross-brand file transfers and Apple Watch integration.
