Samsung Galaxy S26 series to get Apple AirDrop support via Quick Share from today onwards

Samsung have officially announced that their Samsung Galaxy S26 series of smartphones will soon be able to share content using Apple AirDrop via Quick Share starting from today or 23 March 2026. The rollout will begin from South Korea and then eventually more regions such as Europe, Hong Kong, Japan, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

Just the Samsung Galaxy S26 series for now…

Initially, Apple AirDrop support will only be for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series which includes the Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. We expect that this will become available to other Samsung devices eventually, but no rollout dates or devices have been mentioned just yet.
