OPPO has officially unveiled ColorOS 17 globally, bringing the new Living Flow Design and advanced system-level artificial intelligence capabilities starting with the upcoming Find X10 Series. The software update features a Unified Rendering Architecture that cuts rendering loads by up to 30% and RAM usage by up to 25%. More details on the features

This latest user interface update introduces Living Flow Design, which relies on Luminous Effect, Fluid Motion, and Flexible Feedback to make every interaction feel more natural and responsive. The refined Luminous Rendering Engine and Laminar Flow Engine work together to handle heavy workloads, allowing multitasking users to keep over 25% more apps running in the background. Gallery thumbnails also load up to 50% faster on first launch compared with the previous version, ensuring an optimized daily experience.

Artificial intelligence features include AI Mind Pilot and its new Agent Mode, which lets you work directly with stored photos and files to organize documents, search across multiple sources, and create travel itineraries. Additional tools include AI Photo Agent for intuitive editing via Style Match, AI Mind Space for structured memory collections, and OSee for instant object recognition and translation from a single camera shutter press.

Privacy and security are strengthened through the Private Computing Cloud with post-quantum security, a Transparency Report, and real-time fraud monitoring via AI Call Guard. ColorOS 17 debuts on the upcoming OPPO Find X10 Series before rolling out progressively through late 2026 and into early 2027.
