Xiaomi has officially unveiled its flagship Xiaomi 18 Pro Series in China which includes the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max from RMB 6999 (~RM4,361) and the Xiaomi 18 Pro from RMB 5999 (~RM3,652). Built around an evolved Back Display form factor and next-gen hardware, the series features the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chipsets, dual-200MP Leica cameras, and Xiaomi Privacy Display technology. No specific Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet though.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset built on a 2nm GAA process. The device features Offset PoP thermal management paired with 3D IceLoop cooling to accelerate heat transfer and maintain sustained high-performance gaming output. On the front, it sports a 6.9-inch Xiaomi Privacy Display utilizing HyperRGB 2.0 technology, allowing you to selectively block sensitive notifications, floating windows, and split-screen views without blurring the entire panel or compromising overall image quality. A dedicated AI button offers customizable long-press activation for privacy controls, while an AON sensor detects prying eyes within 30 degrees to instantly alert you.

Cameras include a main 200MP Leica LOFIC ultra-high dynamic range camera alongside a 200MP telephoto lens supporting a 75mm portrait focal length and 12cm macro capabilities. With 200MP in-sensor zoom, the system offers six lossless zoom focal lengths ranging from 17mm to 200mm. 

Powering the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is an 8500mAh Silicon-carbon battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless HyperCharge. Meanwhile, the standard Xiaomi 18 Pro uses similar features and tech specs but with a compact 6.4-inch display, a 7000mAh battery, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.
