Samsung starts selling Galaxy S26 Ultra and S26 at up to 85 percent lower prices, details

The RAM crisis and memory shortage have led to a stratospheric rise in smartphone prices globally. Amid this critical situation, if you want to purchase a device from Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S26 series at a lower price, the Galaxy maker has another option. Samsung has added the Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S26 to its Certified Re-Newed programme, giving buyers a chance to get up to 85 per cent of their original launch price.

The renewed Galaxy S26 series will be available through Samsung’s official website and the Samsung Shop app across India. Samsung says the phones will come in like-new condition and will go through a company-certified process before reaching customers.

Though the South Korean tech giant did not specifically reveal the price breakdown, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra were launched at Rs 87,999 and Rs 1,39,999, respectively. Currently, both phones are listed at Rs 79,999 and Rs 1,30,999 on Amazon. Samsung says customers can get the Certified Re-Newed models at up to 85 per cent of their original launch price.

What is Samsung Certified Re-Newed

The Certified Re-Newed programme is Samsung’s way of giving older or returned flagship phones another shot at finding a new owner. But these are not simply used phones being put back on sale. Samsung says every device goes through inspection, cleaning, refurbishment and testing.

If a component needs replacing, Samsung said it replaces them with genuine parts. The company also says every phone gets a Samsung-certified battery that meets its quality standards. The devices are reset to remove previous user data and are updated with the latest software before being sold again.

One-year warranty included

There is another reason Samsung wants buyers to consider the Certified Re-Newed programme. Every Certified Re-Newed Galaxy S26 series device comes with a one-year company warranty.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra and Galaxy S26 will be sold through Samsung.com and the Samsung Shop app across India. However, Samsung says the exact models, colours, storage options, pricing and offers can vary depending on the market.

For buyers who want a Galaxy S26 but do not necessarily want to pay the full launch price, the Certified Re-Newed programme could offer a more affordable way to get Samsung’s latest flagship experience.
