Royal Enfield has introduced the 2026 iteration of the Guerrilla 450, bringing a sharper focus on street performance with the debut of the all-new APEX variant. Launched at the brand’s GRRR Nights festival in Guwahati, the updated roadster range also benefits from key refinements aimed at improving everyday usability.

The headline addition is the Guerrilla 450 Apex, a more focused and sport-oriented version of the roadster. Designed to enhance rider engagement, the Apex features a more aggressive riding triangle with aluminium handlebars that are repositioned lower and further forward, resulting in a sportier, forward-leaning stance.

Complementing the revised ergonomics are new road-biased 17-inch Vredestein Centuro ST tyres, which promise improved grip, especially in wet and low-friction conditions. Visually, the Apex distinguishes itself with a sharper design language, including a front cowl, sculpted rear seat cowl, rim tapes and new colour themes such as Apex Red, Black and Green.

Mechanically, the motorcycle remains unchanged. It continues to be powered by the 452cc, liquid-cooled Sherpa engine producing 40bhp and 40Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. However, ride modes are now called Street and Sport, along with a new mode retention feature that remembers the last selected mode.

Beyond the Apex variant, Royal Enfield has also addressed one of the key criticisms of the Guerrilla 450, tyre grip. The standard Dash and Flash variants now come equipped with updated CEAT Gripp XL tyres featuring a revised compound and tread pattern, delivering better traction in both dry and wet conditions.

The feature list also sees a usability upgrade. The Tripper Dash, a 4-inch circular TFT display with Google Maps-powered navigation, now allows Android users to mirror navigation without needing to keep their smartphones unlocked. Additionally, the Royal Enfield app has been updated to provide more ride data and insights.

A new Twilight Blue colour has also been introduced on the Dash variant, which now comes with added accessories such as handguards and a headlight grille, enhancing both style and practicality.

Prices for the Guerrilla 450 APEX start at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings open from today. Retail sales and test rides across India will commence from March 31, 2026.
