OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite launched in India: Specs, price and offers

OnePlus has introduced the Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite in India. Both of the devices bring fast refresh rate displays, large batteries, and dedicated gaming support to the table.

OnePlus has expanded its Nord series in India with the simultaneous launch of two new smartphones — the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and the Nord CE 6 Lite. Both devices feature a smooth 144Hz refresh rate display and run Android-based OxygenOS 16. While the Nord CE 6 is driven by a Snapdragon chipset, the Nord CE 6 Lite opts for a MediaTek processor. Both models will be available through Amazon in multiple colour options.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 specs and features

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 sports a 6.78-inch display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Geared towards gamers, the panel incorporates Touch Reflex technology for enhanced responsiveness and is claimed to support up to 144 FPS gameplay, further backed by a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. To manage heat during intensive tasks, OnePlus has included a large vapour chamber cooling system with over 33,000 mm of cooling area.

For photography, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 sports a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with dual-axis OIS support. On the front, the phone houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera, which marks a notable upgrade over the 16-megapixel sensor seen on the OnePlus Nord CE 5. The rear camera setup also supports 4K Ultra HD video recording.

To keep the lights on, the smartphone packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging. According to OnePlus, the device can last for over 2.5 days on a single charge and is designed to retain up to 80 per cent battery health even after six years of use.

On the software side, the phone will run OxygenOS 16 based on Android. It also comes equipped with dual stereo speakers supporting up to 300 per cent Ultra Volume. In terms of durability, the Nord CE 6 carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and the top-of-the-line IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The company also claims that the device has passed MIL-STD-810H durability testing.

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite sports a 6.72-inch Full HD display with an adaptive refresh rate that scales between 1Hz and 120Hz, capable of pushing up to 144Hz when the situation demands it. Gamers will also appreciate the panel's ability to handle up to 90 FPS in shooter titles and up to 144 FPS in runner games.

Under the hood, the Nord CE 6 Lite is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset, built on a 4nm process and paired with UFS 3.1 storage. OnePlus claims the device surpasses 1,030,000 on AnTuTu, and to keep thermals in check, it incorporates a 5,300mm vapour chamber cooling system for sustained performance during extended sessions.

Fuelling the Nord CE 6 Lite is a hefty 7,000mAh battery that OnePlus says is capable of stretching up to two days on a single charge. The cell is also engineered for longevity, with the company claiming it can retain up to 80 per cent of its original health even after six years of use. Topping it back up is handled by 45W SUPERVOOC wired charging.

On the camera front, the Nord CE 6 Lite packs a 50-megapixel primary sensor capable of recording 4K video. The main camera is supported by a 2MP depth sensor. An 8-megapixel shooter on the front handles selfies and video calls.

The device carries MIL-STD-810H certification for durability and runs on Android-based OxygenOS 16. It also comes loaded with an extensive suite of AI-powered tools, including AI Perfect Shot, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, and AI Reframe, alongside Motion Photos with 4K support. Google's Gemini AI is on board as well, bringing Gemini Live with camera and screen-sharing capabilities to the mix.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite price, offers and availability

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 price starts at Rs 29,999 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will be available at Rs 32,999. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is priced at Rs 20,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will cost you Rs 22,999. And the top-of-the-line comes at Rs 25,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

On top of that, you get an instant bank discount of Rs 2000 for both the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite devices. This brings down the respective price to Rs 27,999 and Rs 30,999 for Nord CE 6, while the Nord CE 6 Lite costs Rs 18,999, Rs 20,999 and Rs 23,999.

While the OnePlus Nord CE 6 come in three colour options: Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black, the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is available in two colourways: Vivid Mint and Hyper Black. The OnePlus Nord CE 6 will go on sale starting May 8, while the Nord CE 6 Lite follows on May 12.
