by Auto Today · India TodayForce Motors Limited has unveiled the new Force Traveller N range, a comprehensively updated lineup aimed at redefining shared passenger mobility across segments such as ambulances, school buses and delivery vans.
The launch marks a significant transition for the company, as it plans to fully shift production to the new-generation Traveller N platform, replacing the existing Traveller range. As per the company, the Traveller continues to command over 70 per cent market share, particularly in ambulance and school transport applications.
Focus on comfort
The new Traveller N range introduces a substantially upgraded cabin designed to deliver a more passenger-friendly and driver-centric experience. Key highlights include a car-like cockpit with a digital instrument cluster and a 9-inch infotainment screen, along with newly designed ergonomic seating.
Force Motors has also worked on improving NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) levels to ensure a quieter cabin environment. An all-new HVAC system has been introduced to enhance cooling efficiency, especially critical for applications like ambulances and school buses.
Design and exterior updates
On the outside, the Traveller N gets a refreshed front fascia featuring daytime running lamps (DRLs) and LED turn indicators, complemented by a redesigned rear profile. The changes aim to give the vehicle a more contemporary and purposeful appearance while improving visibility and safety.
Structural and manufacturing improvements
Beyond cosmetic and comfort upgrades, the new Traveller N range benefits from extensive engineering enhancements. These include a re-engineered sheet metal structure, improved body-in-white (BIW) strength, and a reduction in body joints through better design and manufacturing techniques.
Force Motors has also integrated advanced manufacturing processes such as robotics and automated door hemming, resulting in improved fit and finish, higher consistency, and better overall build quality.
Performance and ownership benefits
Powering the new range is the proven FM 2.6 CR engine, compliant with BS-VI Stage 2 emission norms, ensuring a balance of performance and fuel efficiency. The updates are also aimed at lowering total cost of ownership, reducing downtime, and improving fleet utilisation for operators.
To further enhance the ownership experience, the Traveller N range comes with ‘Force Care’, offering extended warranty, roadside assistance, and accidental repair support. Additionally, ‘iPulse’ telematics enables real-time vehicle tracking and diagnostics.
Availability
Bookings for the new Force Traveller N range are set to commence across dealerships nationwide from mid-May 2026.
