The Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge will be launching in the S26 series and the CAD renders have shown a different design (if compared to S25 Edge). The S26 Edge will offer a massive camera island at the rear, initially reported Android Headlines.
The CAD based renders were created by OnLeaks. The dimensions of the device were confirmed to measure 158.4 x 75.7 x 5.5mm. The device will be 0.3mm thinner than the current S25 Edge excluding the camera island.
The camera island offers a total thickness of up to 10.8mm. Even though the design (recently teased) is bit odd, we hope the final design to be different. The leak has confirmed that the device will offer built-in magnets for full Qi2 support. The display of the device is likely to be 6.7”.
On the other hand, reports have mentioned that Samsung will offer a bigger battery if compared with the current Edge. The battery size is expected to go from 3900mAh to 4200mAh.
The new Edge smartphone was earlier spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC. However there might be a variant with Exynos 2600 SoC for markets other than US market. There might be a 50MP ultra-wide camera at the rear but the chances of triple rear camera setup on the device are nil.
