Meta, the parent company of Facebook accidentally revealed details about its upcoming smart glasses just days before its Meta Connect 2025 event.
According to the reports, a blog post appeared on the company’s website for a short time and was then removed. But before it was taken down, many tech reports and users took screenshots shared them widely online.
The post showed that Meta is preparing to launch next-generation Ray-Ban smart glasses with a built-in display.
These glasses are reportedly designed to show real-time information right in front of the wearer’s eyes adding new augmented reality features. This is a big update compared to the earlier versions of Meta’s smart glasses.
The new product is expected to be part of Meta’s larger plan in spatial computing. This also includes its Quest headsets and AI assistants. Even though Meta has not commented on the leak, it is very likely that the smart glasses will be officially shown at the Meta Connect 2025 event.
