Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be launching in January 2026 and leaks about the upcoming devices have surfaced online. The latest leak about the smartphone mentions that the Ultra model might get a huge camera upgrade over its predecessor.

According to the latest leak from tipster Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with a 1/1.1-inch 200MP Sony CMOS sensor. This sensor might be used for the main camera of the device. This rumoured 1/1.1-inch 200MP sensor will be a huge upgrade over the 1/1.3-inch sensor present in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This new sensor is likely to improve picture quality of the device, if compared to the current 200MP sensor for Galaxy Ultra device. If the rumour is true, this will be the first time that Samsung will deviate from its in-house 200MP sensor for the Galaxy Ultra smartphones.

Recent rumour had also suggested that, the Galaxy S26 Ultra might offer a 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor. The device is likely to offer 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 12MP with 3x telephoto sensor and a 50MP periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom. The device is also expected to offer next-generation ProVisual Engine.
