The Redmi Pad 2 tablet will launch in India on June 18. The company has teased the design as well as colour options of the tablet. The upcoming tablet will resemble the global 4G variant. The image teased by the company has shown the design and features of the tablet.

Redmi Pad 2 launch in India

The launch of Redmi Pad 2 will take place on June 18, mentioned the official post by X. The tag on the promotional poster mentions that the tablet will offer Wi-Fi as well as cellular connectivity. We do not know whether, the cellular variant will get 4G or 5G support.

The microsites of Amazon and Flipkart mention that the Redmi Pad 2 will be offered there. The device will support AI features like Google’s Circle to Search. The tablet will offer larger screen, larger battery along with better performance (as compared to Redmi Pad).

The tablet will get dual-tone finish in blue and grey colourways.

Specifications (international variant)

The global variant of Redmi Pad 2 is powered by MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra SoC. The tablet is powered by a 9000mAh battery along with up to 19 hours of video playback on full charge.

The tablet offers 11-inch 2.5K display along with 90Hz refresh rate. The sound system gets Dolby Atmos support. The colour of the tablet is Graphite Grey and Mint Green. The device gets Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 out-of-the-box.

The RAM options on the tablet are 4/8GB while the storage is 128/256GB. There is microSD card slot in the device and users can use up to 2TB memory cards. When it comes to camera, the front camera is 5MP while the rear camera offers 8MP sensor. There is a 9000mAh battery onboard and it supports 18W charging.

Colour options on the device are Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple.
