Poco M7 Plus 5G will be offered in 4GB RAM variant, will launch on September 22

Poco has already launched the 6GB and 8GB variants of Poco M7 Plus 5G new-midrange smartphone in India. The company has now announced that the Poco M7 Plus 5G will be available in a 4GB variant. This means that the new variant will be more appealing to the entry level smartphone buyers.

The 4GB variant will be ‘limited edition’ variant and the sale will begin on Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale on September 23. Flipkart Plus and Black members will be able to access the sale on September 22.

Specifications

Poco M7 Plus 5G offers a 7000 mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 33W charging as well as 18W reverse charging support. A 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD display is offered on the device and it supports refresh rate of 144Hz. The peak brightness of the device is 550 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is a punch-hole cutout in the display which houses an 8MP front camera.

The device measures just 8.4mm in thickness. A Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC powers the device and it is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additionally, the device also gets microSD support for memory expansion (up to 2TB).

When it comes to rear camera support, the device offers 50MP primary rear camera sensor along with a secondary unit. There are other AI features like AI Dynamic Shot, AI Eraser, and AI Sky replacement. The device offers Android 15-based Hyper OS and the company claims that it will receive 2 years of OS updates. When it comes to security updates, the device gets four years of updates. Google Gemini is offered on the device.

Other important features that are offered in the device are IP64 rating, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IR blaster etc. When it comes to colours, the smartphone is offered in Aqua Blue, Carbon Black, and Chrome Silver colors.

Variants and Price

The Poco M7 Plus 5G is offered in 6GB + 128GB or 8GB + 128GB configurations.  While the 6GB variant costs Rs 13,999 while the 8GB variant costs Rs 14,999.
