Samsung unveils its first clip-on earphones-Galaxy Buds On

Samsung has unveiled the much hyped clip-on earphones called as Galaxy Buds On in South Korea. The Galaxy Buds On is the first Clip-on earbuds product of the South-Korean company. It is priced at KRW 299,999, which is around Rs 21,217 in Indian rupees.
The Galaxy Buds On sports a clip type design, which the brand claims will offer a more comfortable wearable experience to user for extended periods of use during outdoor activities such as running. The open design also allows users to remain aware of their surroundings.
The clip-on earbuds of Samsung features touch control support for music playback and calls. The sensors for this feature are placed at the back of the buds.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 chipset, the buds also feature a Class D amplifier, which is claimed to deliver up to 9.5 hours of continuous use on a single charge.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Buds On feature can detect when the user is speaking thanks to the three microphones and a bone conduction-based vibration sensor in the wearable. This feature helps the buds to reduce background noise during calls.
When connected to a Galaxy smartphone or tablet with Galaxy AI, users can invoke the assistant and perform various actions. The earphones can also be used with Gemini Live.
The earphones also support Head Gestures, allowing users to answer or end calls, check notifications, cancel alarms, and perform other actions using gestures.
The Galaxy Buds On are priced at KRW 299,999 ($220) and will be available in South Korea from October 27. Samsung says the earphones will also roll out in other regions in phases.
