Google now offers Same Day Repair service for Pixel smartphones across 21 cities in India

Google has now expanded its ‘Same Day Repair’ service across 21 cities in India. The same day repair service is available across multiple devices offered by Google. This includes Pixel phones, Pixel Buds, and Pixel Watch.

The owners of the devices can visit the listed Google exclusive or priority service centre. The devices can be repaired and returned on the same day itself. Otherwise, the owners can opt for free doorstep pickup or mail-in service.

According to the information available on Google Store support page, Customers can visit three Google Exclusive Service Centres, located in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. Other than that, the Google Priority Service Centres are available across Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and other locations.

Post the expansion of Google’s customer repair service, the company has claimed that it is fixing 80 percent of Pixel devices on the same day itself. However, if a customer walks into a repair centre and submitted his Pixel device before 2pm, it is eligible for same day repairs.

According to Google, the same day repair is applicable on Pixel phones, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Buds. The company has not said anything about Fitbit devices and smart home products.

The Exclusive Service Centres were launched in 2024 after Google Pixel 9 series launch.

For those who do not want to visit service centres can use mail-in service. Under this service, the users can schedule a doorstep pickup for the Pixel smartphone. After it is repaired, it will be returned back to the customer through a doorstep delivery. This service is offered as free of charge to all Pixel owners in India.
