Hyundai launches 2025 Aura S AMT in India, know price and feature details

Hyundai Motor India limited (HMIL) has expanded the lineup of its popular compact sedan, the Hyundai Aura, by launching a new S AMT variant. This new addition makes the Aura’s automated manual transmission (AMT) more accessible for a wider group of buyers who want the convenience of an automatic at a reasonable price.

The newly launched Aura S AMT is priced at Rs. 8.07 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes between the manual S variant and the higher-spec automatic trims.

The Hyundai Aura uses a 1.2-litre Kappa petro engine which produces 83 PS maximum power and 114 Nm of peak torque.

The CNG version is also available, but only with a manual gearbox, which produces 69 PS power and 95.2 Nm of torque.

Hyundai has added many useful features to the S AMT variant. It now comes with six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist control (HAC) and tyre pressure monitoring system (highline). It also has LED daytime running lamps and electrically foldable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.

The new Aura S AMT is about Rs.70, 000 more expensive than the S manual version but still cheaper than the automatic base models of competitors like Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze.
