2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 launched in India, check price and other details

TVS has launched the 2025 model of Apache RTR 160 in India. Now the motorcycle is available with updated OBD2B emissions norms. There is a dual-channel ABS in the motorcycle. TVS now offers red alloy wheels in the motorcycle.

When it comes to engine, the TVS Apache RTR 160 remains unchanged. It is still powered by a 160cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor than is offered in the older generation. The engine generates 16hp at 8750rpm and 13.85Nm at 7000rpm.

The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 starts at Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom) and if prices are compared, it is Rs 4000 more than the older model’s top spec racing Edition. Customers can either book the motorcycle via online or visit the nearest dealer. The deliveries are expected to start soon.

The motorcycle offers digital instrument cluster which supports TVS SmartXonnect. This means riders can access Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist, call and SMS alerts, crash notifications and much more. In terms of brakes, there is 270mm disc at the front and 200mm disc at the rear.

In terms of design, the newer model does not offer any changes except red coloured alloy wheels. The motorcycle is meant for those who want a sports commuter motorcycle in the 150-160cc category. Colour options in the RTR 160 are Matte Black and Pearl White.
