New Honda Elevate Facelift Launch Oct 2026 – More Features

Introduced in September 2023, Honda Elevate is due for a mid-life update. The SUV has consistently featured in the list of top 10 segment bestsellers. Elevate is already a key contributor to Honda’s overall sales. Refreshed styling and new features of the facelift will help sustain the momentum. As per recent reports, launch is expected in the first few weeks of October.
Honda Elevate facelift – Design updates
Across its exterior, Honda Elevate facelift is expected to get a refreshed grille and revised lighting signatures. Test mules have been spotted with full body camouflage, which could be hiding various minor refreshes as well. The SUV will maintain its upright stance and striking road presence. Side profile could feature a fresh design for the alloy wheels, although test mules were seen using the same wheels as the current model.
Other features are expected to be largely the same as earlier. Elevate has squared wheel arches, thick cladding, conventional door handles and chrome garnish on the windows. At the rear, no major changes are expected with the Elevate facelift. Key features include H-styled tail lamps, a raked windshield, roof mounted spoiler, shark fin antenna and dual-tone bumper.
New features
While an exterior refresh is useful, the focus could be more on improving the equipment list. New features expected with Elevate facelift include a panoramic sunroof. While Elevate currently offers a single pane sunroof, consumer preferences are more in favour of a panoramic sunroof. Many midsize SUVs already have this feature.
Elevate facelift can also pack updates such as dual-zone climate control. The current model has fully automatic climate control with Max Cool mode. Other possibilities include a powered co-driver’s seat and rear sun blinds. Some features like ventilated front seats could be picked up from the City facelift launched in May 2026.
Safety package could be enhanced with new features like a 360-degree camera. This has been added to the City facelift as well. As of now, Elevate offers the 360-degree camera as an optional accessory. It is a third party accessory and installed at the dealership. ADAS suite could also see some new additions. In other updates, Honda Elevate facelift could get new interior themes and updated upholstery. Major changes are unlikely in the cabin.
Powertrain options
Honda Elevate facelift is expected to continue with the existing powertrain options. The SUV uses a 1.5-litre inline 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine that generates 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a CVT. Elevate offers 15.31 km/l mileage with the manual and 16.92 km/l with the CVT transmission.
It is not certain if a hybrid option is being planned for Elevate, similar to Honda City. The latter has a hybrid option with the same engine, offering better performance figures of 126 PS and 253 Nm. Both cars share the same platform and possibility for a hybrid exists. Especially at a time when hybrids are gaining traction in the country. However, there is no official statement regarding such possibilities.
With the updates, Honda Elevate facelift could be offered at slightly higher prices. The current model is available in the price range of Rs 11.81 lakh to Rs 16.78 lakh. Elevate facelift will continue to rival bestsellers like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Victoris, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and Tata Sierra. With the launch of Elevate facelift, Honda Cars can expect a boost in sales in coming months.
