Kia Price Hike Likely In October 2026 – Select Models And Variants

New Kia Seltos

Kia India is expected to increase prices of select models and variants from October 2026. Sources reveal that the revision is understood to be selective, with the affected models and exact increases yet to be ascertained. The hike may not apply uniformly across an entire model range. Certain trims could receive revised prices while others remain unchanged. More details are expected closer to implementation.

The expected revision also comes amid broader pricing pressures in India’s car market. Changes in raw material costs, supplier pricing, logistics and currency movements can prompt manufacturers to review prices periodically. However, the specific reasons behind Kia’s proposed October increase are yet to be established.

New launches have supported this momentum, led by the new-generation Seltos. Sonet is another car which has sales averaging 8-9k per month while Carens Clavis (ICE + EV) delivers about 6k per month. Syros sales have also got a boost, thanks to the launch of EV recently. Kia has also recently launched Sorento with diesel and hybrid powertrain options. The SUV is witnessing strong demand, expanding Kia’s presence in the premium SUV segment.
