2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Launch Price Rs 14.42 Lakh – Gets New Colour
by Akshay Kulkarni · RushLaneDisplacement-wise, Ninja 1100SX lies at the top of Kawasaki’s Ninja family, creating a niche of a sports tourer, while ZX-10R is more of the litre-class 200 bhp motorcycle. Being a toned down and easy-going sports tourer, Ninja 1100SX has a fan following of its own and Kawasaki has just updated this motorcycle to MY26 model in India. Let’s check out all the changes.
2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Launch
Where pricing is concerned, 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX has been priced at Rs 14.42 lakh (Ex-sh). Comparing 2026 model’s price to 2025 model’s, we can see that Kawasaki has not increased the price, which is a good thing as the value quotient of this sports touring motorcycle stays intact.
This update is part of Kawasaki’s strategy of bringing all of its portfolio to MY26 model year. As part of this update, Kawasaki has given 2026 Ninja 1100SX a new colour. Called Metallic Brilliant Golden Black / Metallic Carbon Gray, this colour replaces MY25’s Metallic Carbon Gray / Metallic Diablo Black.
Green was used for highlights in MY25, which is now replaced by Gold. Top half of the bike’s fairing and fuel tank now gets sort of a Brownish shade, replacing Gray shade seen in MY25 version. This new colour is the only visual distinction to separate 2026 Ninja 1100SX from 2025 Ninja 1100SX.
Notable features of Ninja 1100SX have been retained. These include clean-mount pannier system, relaxed riding posture, controlled and damped vibrations, wind protection from full fairing and a tall windscreen, handlebar-mounted USB Type-C socket and the same touring-friendly ergonomics which riders prefer in a sports-tourer.
Same Mechanicals
Super sport style aluminium Diamond chassis has been retained and so are most of its cycle parts. Showa USD telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock with rebound dampening and remote preload adjustment, dual-disc setup at the front and single disc at the rear with Tokico callipers (branded Kawasaki) and others.
The 19L fuel tank, 820 mm seat height, 135 mm ground clearance, 235 kg kerb weight, dual-channel ABS, slip and assist clutch, electronic throttle with cruise control, traction control, bi-directional quick-shifter, Kawasaki cornering management with an IMU, power modes, smartphone connectivity with its 4.3-inch TFT cluster are notable elements.
Where powertrain is concerned, 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX continues with the same 1099cc 4-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC 4V/cyl engine with 136 PS of peak power and 113 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox are retained with longer 5th and 6th gears.
