Powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and AMOLED display
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it a powerhouse for performance across all global markets. This chipset promises enhanced speed and efficiency, catering to demanding users and gamers.
Samsung continues its legacy of superior displays with a Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO screen featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display will offer stunning visuals with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits and HDR10+ support, ensuring vibrant colours and excellent clarity even in bright environments.
Storage and RAM options
The S25 Ultra will be available in three configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and a top-tier model featuring 16GB RAM with a massive 1TB of storage. These options provide ample space for apps, photos, and videos, with enhanced multitasking capabilities thanks to the increased RAM in higher-end variants.
Samsung has enhanced the S25 Ultra’s wireless charging capabilities. The device now supports 25W wireless charging, up from 15W on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This ensures faster and more convenient charging. Wired charging remains at 45W, providing users with a reliable and efficient charging experience.
In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 Ultra measures 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 219g. It is a bit taller, slimmer and lighter than the S24 Ultra. Yet, it still has the same bright screen and great build. The Galaxy S25 Ultra brings some upgrades over the S24 Ultra. This includes better RAM/storage, enhanced wireless charging, and a refined design. These tweaks help give fans a top tool while keeping all the great bits of the S24 Ultra. With such gear, the S25 Ultra would likely be a top pick in the high-end phone list. Fans wait for its big show soon this month.
