Beelink GTi15 Ultra is an Intel Arrow Lake mini PC with support for an (external) desktop graphics card

by · Liliputing

Last year Beelink launched a line of mini PCs that are designed to work with desktop graphics cards that may be larger than the computers themselves. That’s Beelink GTi Ultra series mini PCs have an exposed PCIe x8 interface that allows you to connect them to a Beelink EX Pro Docking Station.

Now Beelink is introducing a new model called the Beelink GTi15 Ultra. From the outside it looks just like earlier models, but on the inside it’s the most powerful yet, thanks to support for up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H Arrow Lake processor.

Up until now, Beelink has offered models with Intel Core i9-12900HK (Alder Lake), Core i9-13900HK (Raptor Lake) and Intel Core Ultra 7 155H or Core Ultra 9 185H (Meteor Lake) processor options.

The new GTi15 Ultra should bring a significant boost to CPU, graphics, and AI performance. It also brings a major boost in wired networking. While earlier models had dual 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports, the new version’s LAN ports support 10 Gigabit speeds.

Other features are largely the same. Like its predecessors, the new Beelink GTi15 Ultra measures 158 x 158 x 56mm (6.2″ x 6.2″ x 2.2″) and has an integrated 145W power supply.

It has two SODIMM slots with support for up to 96GB of total DDR5-6400 memory (although the computer comes with DDR5-5600 RAM pre-installed by default), and two M.2 2280 slots for PCIe 4.0 x4 storage. There’s also an Intel BE200 wireless card with support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 plus four built-in microphones.

Ports include:

  • 1 x Thunderbolt 4 (40 Gbps)
  • 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10 Gbps)
  • 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps)
  • 1 x HDMI 2.1
  • 1 x DisplayPort 1.4a
  • 1 x 3.5mm audio
  • 2 x 10Gb LAN

There’s a PCIe 5.0 x8 slot on the bottom of the system that allows the mini PC to connect to the graphics dock. Keep in mind that while this should allow for more throughput than an OCuLink docking station (which is limited to PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds), you’ll still have a bottleneck that won’t let you get the same level of performance from some graphics cards as you would when using a desktop PC with a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot.

Beelink hasn’t announced global pricing or availability for the GTi15 Ultra yet, but according to Chinese news site ITHome, Beelink is offering models in that country with prices starting at 4,699 CNY ($655) for a barebones model. Chinese customers can also pick up a 32G /1TB model for  5,699 CNY ($740), or a 64GB/1TB version for 6,299 CNY ($880).
