Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max: Official images with multiple colors revealed

by · Nokiamob

After days of teasers, Vivo has officially unveiled the design of its upcoming X500 series in China. The company has now showcased the Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, giving the first clear look at how each model will appear and how they differ from one another.

Vivo X500 design: a nod to the X90 era

The standard Vivo X500 will be offered in four colors: white, grey, dawn (pink) and black. Its rear design departs from the Pro models and instead draws inspiration from the Vivo X90 series from 2022.

The phone features a circular camera unit positioned on the left side, housed within a rectangular camera module. On the right side of the module, there is an additional camera sensor and an LED flash. This layout creates a distinctive asymmetrical look that sets the X500 apart from its higher-end siblings.

X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max share nearly identical styling

Images of the Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max reveal that the two models share an almost identical design language. Both use a large circular camera module similar to the previous generation, continuing Vivo’s signature flagship aesthetic.

The primary differences between the two are:

  • Size: The Pro is the smaller device, while the Pro Max is larger.
  • Extra button: The Pro Max includes an additional button on the left edge, which could be a dedicated camera control or function key.

Both the Pro and Pro Max will be available in grey, white, orange and black color options.

Launch timeline and additional products

Vivo is scheduled to hold its official launch event in China on September 21, where it will introduce not only the X500 series but also additional products, including:

  • Vivo Watch 6
  • Vivo Buds Clip

While the initial launch is focused on China, the X500 lineup is expected to reach global markets in November, bringing Vivo’s latest flagship cameras and design to international audiences.
