Nothing Phone 4a and 4a Pro Specs Revealed – Snapdragon 7 Series and New Colors
by Kreso · NokiamobLondon-based consumer tech brand Nothing appears to be planning a significant expansion of its mid-range portfolio next year. According to fresh leaks surfacing on Telegram, the company is developing three new products: two smartphones under the “4a” moniker and a colorful new audio accessory.
The intelligence comes from developer MlgmXyysd, who has outlined key details regarding the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a and its higher-tier sibling, the Phone 4a Pro.
A Split Processor Strategy
Unlike the current generation—where both the Phone 3a and 3a Pro utilized the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC—Nothing is reportedly planning a clearer performance distinction for the 2026 lineup.
The standard Phone 4a is expected to stick with a Snapdragon 7s series processor, a chip line typically optimized for efficiency in budget-friendly devices. However, the Phone 4a Pro is rumored to step up to a standard Snapdragon 7 series processor. This shift implies that the Pro model will offer tangible performance gains over the base version, justifying its higher placement in the lineup.
Beyond the silicon, the Phone 4a Pro is expected to retain eSIM support, a feature present in its predecessor. Aesthetically, the leak suggests a vibrant palette for the new handsets, listing blue, pink, white, and black as potential colorways, though it remains unclear if every color will be available for both models.
Estimated Pricing
The leak also provided a glimpse into potential pricing for the 12GB RAM / 256GB storage configurations:
- Nothing Phone 4a: Approximately $475
- Nothing Phone 4a Pro: Approximately $540
It is important to note that while these figures are listed in USD, this does not automatically confirm US availability. Nothing has historically staggered its releases across different regions.
“Headphone a”: A Colorful Rebrand?
Alongside the smartphones, Nothing is reportedly working on a new audio product dubbed the Headphone a. These are described as a rebranded version of the existing Nothing Headphone 1, but with a twist: the build will reportedly utilize a plastic body, likely to drive down costs.
To match the playful aesthetic of the brand’s sub-label, these headphones are expected to launch in pink, yellow, white, and black.
Launch Timeline
While Nothing has not officially acknowledged the existence of these devices, the leaked timeline aligns with the company’s established release cadence. Developer MlgmXyysd suggests that the Phone 4a series and Headphone a could launch in March 2026.
Given that the Phone 3a series made its debut in March 2025, a spring launch for the next generation seems highly probable.
