OnePlus 13s Launches in India with Snapdragon 8 Elite and Massive 5,850mAh Battery
by Kreso · NokiamobOnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 13s, a compact flagship smartphone designed specifically for the Indian market. With a display size of 6.32 inches, the device caters to users seeking powerful performance in a smaller form factor — a segment that typically comes with high prices and limited availability.
Despite its compact build — 71.7mm wide, 8.15mm thick, and weighing 185g — the OnePlus 13s is equipped with top-tier hardware, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage in 256GB and 512GB variants. The phone also introduces a unique cooling system, with a vapor chamber and the industry’s first rear-panel cooling layer, all running OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15.
Massive Battery in a Small Body
One of the standout features is the 5,850mAh battery, which surpasses the capacity found in much larger devices like the Galaxy S25 Ultra (5,000mAh) and iPhone 16 Pro Max (4,685mAh). The 13s supports 80W SuperVOOC charging and Bypass Charging, allowing power to be routed directly from the charger, minimizing heat during gaming or extended use.
High-Quality Display
The device sports a 6.32-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1,216 x 2,640 pixels, a 1Hz–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 10-bit color, Dolby Vision support, and 2,160Hz PWM dimming. Brightness peaks at 1,600 nits and can drop as low as 1.1 nits for night-time use.
Camera Capabilities
On the rear, the OnePlus 13s includes two cameras:
- A 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor with OIS.
- A 50MP Samsung JN5 2x telephoto lens, with EIS.
Both lenses support 4K video recording at 60fps with Dolby Vision. The 32MP front-facing camera offers a wide 90° field of view, autofocus, and 4K video at 30fps—a rarity in compact flagships.
Enhanced Connectivity and AI Features
The phone includes an 11-antenna design, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 with aptX HD, LDAC, and LHDC 5.0 support, NFC, and an infrared blaster for controlling home appliances. It also supports India’s 5.5G networks.
A new AI-powered feature set includes:
- AI VoiceScribe: Real-time transcription and translation of audio from calls, videos, and third-party apps like Zoom, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
- AI Dialer: Provides real-time translation and summaries of voice calls.
- Mind Space and Plus Mind: Tools to quickly save and search information and interact with OnePlus’ new AI assistant.
Alert Slider Replaced by “Plus Button”
The classic Alert Slider has been replaced by a new Plus Button, offering customizable actions like enabling Do Not Disturb, launching the AI assistant, or saving content to Mind Space.

The OnePlus 13s comes in three finishes:
- Green Silk – soft-touch Velvet Glass, India-exclusive
