Honor X70 Launches with 8,300mAh Battery, 80W Fast Charging, and Extreme Durability

Honor has officially launched the new Android phone Honor X70, setting itself apart with a remarkable 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery. While all models support fast 80W wired charging, those who choose the top-tier 512GB variant will also benefit from 80W wireless charging, adding a layer of flexibility for power users.

The Honor X70 is available in four color options—Phantom Night Black, Bamboo Green, Cinnabar Red, and Moon Shadow White—and four configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage.

At the front, the device boasts a vibrant 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1200×2640 pixels, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an extraordinary peak brightness of 6,000 nits. Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, powered by MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.

Photography enthusiasts will find a 50MP f/1.9 wide-angle rear camera equipped with PDAF and optical image stabilization, while the 8MP f/2.0 front camera is designed for crisp selfies and video calls.

Durability is another strong suit for the Honor X70. The device is rated IP66, IP68, and IP69 for dust and water resistance and has passed drop tests from heights up to 2.5 meters. Its tempered glass display sits on a two-piece damping layer, supported by a shock-absorbing frame and a honeycomb bracket for enhanced protection.

Honor further claims the X70 can withstand water temperatures up to 85°C, endure a continuous four-hour salt spray, and remain waterproof at depths up to 6 meters. The display is engineered to work seamlessly in heavy rain and while wearing gloves. Additionally, users can activate the YoYo AI assistant to help expel dust and water from the device.

The Honor X70 is currently available for pre-order, with shipping starting July 18. Pricing is as follows:
