We now know what the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and S25 FE will look like
by Chris Thomas · Android PoliceSamsung's tablet strategy just got a (somewhat predictable) shakeup. After skipping a base model refresh for its Galaxy Tab S10 series last year, the company is reportedly trimming the lineup differently this time around. According to rumors, the upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 series will drop the Plus variant entirely, focusing instead on just two models: the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
In a twist that makes sense given Samsung’s increasingly laptop-adjacent ambitions for its high-end slabs, the Ultra is once again the center of attention. And now, thanks to prolific leaker Evan Blass (posting as @evleaks on X), we’ve got our first look at the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra’s design—and it’s looking sharper than ever.

A real laptop alternative, if you're into that
Last year's Tab S10 Ultra was prohibitively large for some users, but perfect for others. Expect more of the same this time around.
The render shows both front and back views, giving us plenty to dissect. Up front, we’re treated to slimmer bezels surrounding what looks to be a massive AMOLED panel. There’s still a notch for the front-facing camera(s), but it’s been noticeably downsized compared to the wide cutout on the Tab S10 Ultra. This new U-shaped notch is a subtle improvement, but a welcome one — especially for users who use the tablet in landscape orientation for video calls or other productive tasks.

It may not be in HD, but it is a welcome reveal, nonetheless.
The S Pen makes a return here too, which is unsurprising but still good to see. Samsung continues to lean into its stylus support as a core productivity feature, particularly for the Ultra line.
Flip it over, and the back of the Tab S11 Ultra looks familiar, but with a twist. There are still dual cameras, but the camera rings are significantly larger and now resemble what we’ve seen on the Galaxy S25 series. That’s a clear sign that Samsung is aiming for a cohesive design language across its phones and tablets, which makes sense as more users integrate multiple Galaxy devices into their workflows.

Speaking of the Galaxy S25, Blass also dropped a render of the Galaxy S25 FE, which appears to borrow heavily from its premium siblings. It’s not the first time we’ve seen the midrange model, but it helps solidify what we should expect from Samsung’s more affordable flagship alternative.
As for the Tab S11 series’ official debut, all signs point to a September 2025 launch—just two months away. Expect leaks to ramp up as we approach the announcement. And while there’s no Plus model this time around, the Tab S11 and S11 Ultra might just be enough to satisfy both mainstream users and power users alike.
