According to a report from SE Daily (via Jukanlosreve), Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy S25 Edge in South Korea on April 16, 2025, through an online Unpacked event. The device is expected to hit the shelves the following month in May 2025. At launch, it will be available in three colors: light blue, black, and silver.
The Galaxy S25 Edge might initially be available in select markets only
There's no word yet on which countries will get the Galaxy S25 Edge, but with production initially set at just 40,000 units, it might be limited to select markets. In terms of pricing, it is rumored to be more expensive than the base Galaxy S25 but cheaper than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. For context, the Galaxy S25 starts at $799 in the US, while the S25+ and S25 Ultra are priced at $999 and $1,299, respectively.
Previous leaks indicate the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 6.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it larger than the base Galaxy S25 but slightly smaller than the Galaxy S25+. Rumors also suggest a 3,900 mAh battery and the 7-core variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, similar to the Oppo Find N5 foldable, to maintain better thermals.
