Here's your first look at the Google Pixel 10a

Google's Pixel 9a was released earlier this year, in March, to be specific. Its successor, the Pixel 10a (if Google retains the naming scheme), isn't due for a little bit, but we're already starting to see rumored specs and proper CAD renders, giving us a proper look at what might just be one of the most 'mid' mid-rangers of 2026.

We already know quite a lot about the distant device, and from what we can tell, it's not looking to be a big upgrade compared to the Pixel 9a. The upcoming device is reported to cheap out in the SoC department, with Google reportedly opting for the Tensor G4 chip, the same chip used on the Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9a. Additionally, unlike the base Pixel 10 this year, the mid-ranger will reportedly not sport a telephoto, and that's now starting to show in early renders.

Prior to today, we had only seen what the Pixel 10a's wallpapers might look like. Now, courtesy of Android Headlines and @OnLeaks on X, we know what the actual device could end up looking like.

Highlighted in three distinct angles, the Pixel 10a renders showcase what looks to essentially be a clone of the Pixel 9a, albeit with slightly thinner bezels.

For what it's worth, the bezels in the renders look aggressively thin. They might not actually be as sleek as they appear, as confirmed by @OnLeaks.

A very familiar design

Elsewhere, the device appears to retain its predecessor's flat aesthetic, with a rear camera bar that sits almost flush with the phone's body. The rear highlights only two lenses, which means the Pixel 10a won't get the same telephoto treatment as the base Pixel 10. It will retain the same flash placement on the back, and the same cutout for the reported 13MP selfie shooter at the front.

Android Headlines points out that the blue color highlighted in the renders isn't an official one, but it's one that we'd love to see on the final product. Additionally, it's not entirely clear whether US Pixel 10a models will sport a physical SIM tray, even though it's shown in the renders.

The Pixel 10a isn't expected to land within 2025, so expect these leaks to evolve significantly over time. Additionally, remember to take all CAD render leaks, especially ones this early, with a grain of salt.
