The Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro are set to go on sale around a week after being launched in India, and have received a set of updates to simplify the existing UI and improve the quality of photos shot on the phones’ camera.

In a Nothing community forum, some newly listed updates included enhanced Essential Key interaction with short/long press options, Essential Space widgets, a new homepage and detail page, an ‘upcoming’ section for task management, and smart insights in the system language.

Apart from this, the phone camera has been improved so that users can capture better quality photos, and enjoy improved clarity in macro mode, as well as a refined portrait mode with better background blurring. The camera app was also upgraded and some existing bugs were fixed. Users can import cube files to use as their custom filters, and also now get camera presets.

There is also AI-powered face and scene classification in the Nothing Gallery.

About the Phone 3a and 3a Pro, Nothing said that they were “packed with our most advanced triple-camera system with up to 60X ultra zoom, a Snapdragon gaming powerhouse, and a brighter, more responsive display.”

The Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. They offer a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits of peak brightness.

While Phone 3a starts at ₹19,999, the Phone 3a Pro starts at ₹24,999.
