Truecaller rolls out real-time caller ID for iOS users
The app uses Apple’s Live Caller ID Lookup framework while keeping the user’s privacy secure
by The Hindu Bureau · The HinduCaller ID app Truecaller has released an update for iOS that will help users identify the caller in real time. The app uses Apple’s Live Caller ID Lookup framework while keeping the user’s privacy secure.
Besides this, users can also automatically block spam calls and search for previously identified calls going back to 2,000 numbers in Recents on the phone app.
Users can enable Truecaller on the iOS 18.2 by first downloading Truecaller app version 14.0 if they haven’t, then go to Settings navigate to apps and Call Blocking and Identification. Then, enable all Truecaller switches and re-open the app.
Additionally, Truecaller is offering a Premium Family plan subscription so users can share paid features between up to four more people.
