We’ve modernized the camera interface to provide an improved experience and faster navigation. Key upgrades include:

• Alerts with zoomed-in previews: Automatically focus subjects in event notifications.
• Improved navigation: Enjoy smoother video scrubbing and more precise camera controls.
• Enhanced event list: Scroll through your timeline without closing the video player.

Seamless management across surfaces

We are bringing the power of Google Home to more places:

• Robust automations and control: Expanded automation traits now allow you to monitor everything from robot vacuums to battery levels with ease.
• Ask Home on web: Coming soon to Public Preview, you’ll be able to search camera history and create automations from your computer.
• Improved app notifications: Quick Action buttons let Public Preview users instantly jump from an alert to the exact device panel, easily switching between properties.
