Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ full specs officially revealed ahead of launch
by Siddharth · GSMArena.comWith its June 4 launch just around the corner, Motorola has officially unveiled the full specifications of the Edge 70 Pro+. The company had previously confirmed the phone’s color options, giving us an early look at its design.
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. On the software front, the handset will ship with Android 16 and is promised to receive 3 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
Up front, the device will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel is also rated for a peak brightness of 5,200 nits, supports HDR10+, and offers an in-display fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, it is confirmed to get a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP wide Sony Lytia 710 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide with auto-focus, and a 50MP periscope telephoto with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom support. For selfies, the phone will offer a 50MP sensor with auto focus.
The Edge 70 Pro+ will pack a 6.500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Other specs include an IP68/IP69 rating, MIL-STD 810H certification, and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos. As for connectivity, the phone offers 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, and GPS.
