Motorola's wide foldable now has a name and its specs are out

Earlier this month, some sketches leaked purporting to show Motorola’s upcoming wide foldable, which is expected to arrive at some point in the next few months. A few days later, the company started teasing the device, confirming that it's real.

Now a new leak brings us the device's specs. And maybe its name too? It is apparently being called Razr Flex internally, but it's not yet clear if this is its final name. For what it's worth, this isn't the codename - that's Parker, apparently.

Anyway, the Razr Flex comes with a 6.92-inch inner OLED folding screen with 2364x1728 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, as well as a 4.97" OLED cover display with 1140x1736 resolution. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and just 256GB of storage (there won't be any other options, weirdly enough).

The phone measures 110 x 149 x 5.8 mm when unfolded, and 110 x 76 x 12.6 mm when folded. It has a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide on the back, two 32MP selfie cameras (one for each screen), and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W wireless charging. It allegedly weighs 215g and will come in Pantone Coriander and Pantone Dark Botanical Garden colors.

There's a fingerprint scanner on the side, embedded in the power button. The handset is IP48 and IP49 certified for dust and water resistance, and will launch with Android 17 out of the box in mid-December.
