Here's when the OnePlus 16 is launching

After recently revealing the color options and full camera details of the upcoming OnePlus 16, the company has now announced the phone’s launch date in China.

The OnePlus 16 will launch in China on October 12. The company announced the launch date at its 2026 OnePlus Gaming Conference in China, where it also detailed the upcoming flagship’s gaming capabilities.

The OnePlus 16 was recently confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The company has now revealed that the phone will feature a 185Hz refresh rate display and support native 185fps gaming in titles such as Arena Breakout, Nizhan: Future, Naruto Mobile, and Peace Elite.

The phone will also feature a custom display chip, a dedicated chip for touch response, and another chip for connectivity.

The OnePlus 16 is also confirmed to support a system-wide 165Hz refresh rate.

It will feature a 200MP primary rear camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and will be available in three color options when it goes on sale.
