Xiaomi 17 Ultra's camera details tipped

Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 17 series last month, which consists of three smartphones - Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. It is expected to introduce the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in the next few months, and while we await more information from Xiaomi about it, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some camera details of the Ultra model.

According to DCS, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature a quad-camera setup on its rear, which will be a combination of one 200MP and three 50MP cameras. The primary camera will have a very high dynamic range, while the periscope telephoto unit will feature a new optical technology. We presume one of the four cameras will be an ultrawide unit, with the other being the regular telephoto camera.

DCS claimed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra's camera system will come with huge improvements over the previous Ultra model since the main and periscope cameras have been greatly improved.

Moreover, DCS stated that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will have two versions, and while both will have camera setups with the same sensor and lens technologies, the higher-end model will come with some revolutionary imaging features.
