Samsung Announces Galaxy Buds3 FE With Blade Design and Galaxy AI Integration

by · channelnews

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Buds3 FE, its latest affordable wireless earbuds featuring the company’s distinctive blade stem design, enhanced audio performance, and Galaxy AI capabilities at an accessible $249 price point.

The Galaxy Buds3 FE serve as the successor to the original Galaxy Buds FE from 2023, bringing premium features from Samsung’s flagship Buds3 Pro to a more affordable segment.

The earbuds adopt Samsung’s new blade stem design with in-ear tips and a matte dual-tone finish with semi-transparent accents.

The earbuds feature dynamic drivers alongside three microphones for active noise cancellation (ANC) and enhanced call clarity.

Samsung has improved the microphone positioning to face toward the user’s mouth for optimal voice pickup, while a trained machine learning model isolates voices during calls in noisy environments.

The Galaxy Buds3 FE deliver what Samsung describes as rich, powerful sound with deep bass and clear treble through larger speakers compared to previous models.

Enhanced ANC reduces ambient noise for more immersive listening experiences, while spatial audio and 24-bit Hi-Fi sound support provide premium audio quality.

Battery performance offers up to 6 hours of playback with ANC enabled and 8.5 hours with ANC disabled.

The charging case extends total usage to 24 hours with ANC on and 30 hours with ANC off, powered by 53mAh batteries in each earbud and a 515mAh case battery.

The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 with AAC, SBC, and Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC) compatibility, plus dual device pairing for Samsung devices with Auto Switch functionality that seamlessly transfers connections based on audio activity detection.

Galaxy AI integration enables hands-free access to Google Gemini and real-time translation through Galaxy AI Interpreter.

Users can activate voice commands with “Hey Google” for natural, conversational interactions without requiring screen or hand controls.

The translation feature works with smartphone apps to facilitate foreign language conversations and lectures.

Control functionality includes intuitive pinch and swipe gestures on the blade stems for selections and volume adjustment.

The charging case features a pairing button for easy transitions between Galaxy devices, while Find My Earbuds support helps locate misplaced earbuds.

The earbuds offer IP54 water and dust resistance for active use scenarios. They integrate seamlessly with Galaxy devices through system settings and provide app-free control from any screen.

The Galaxy Buds3 FE will be available from September 26 in black and grey colours through select retailers, positioning Samsung to expand its audio innovation reach to broader audiences seeking premium features at accessible pricing.
