Wiim Enters Standalone Amp Market with Vibelink

Global audio brand Wiim, known for its wireless audio products, is stepping into new territory with the launch of the Vibelink Amp, a standalone amplifier designed for both digital and analog sources.

Available now in the US for US$299, the Vibelink Amp is expected to arrive in Australia soon, with an estimated price of around A$459.

The Vibelink Amp marks a shift in approach from Wiim which is known for its streaming-enabled products. Instead of built-in streaming capabilities, this compact amplifier delivers pure, high-fidelity sound with 100W per channel into 8-ohm speakers (or 200W into 4-ohm speakers).

This makes it an attractive option for audiophiles who already own streaming devices or prefer to connect traditional analog sources like turntables and CD players.

The Vibelink Amp is designed to integrate smoothly with Wiim’s existing devices, matching the size and layout of the Wiim Ultra, Mini, and Pro streamers. However, it’s just as capable when paired with third-party equipment. Featuring a high-quality ESS ES9038Q2M DAC, the amp supports up to 24-bit/192kHz high-resolution audio for detailed and accurate sound reproduction.

For connectivity, the Vibelink Amp offers optical and coaxial digital inputs for external streamers and TVs; RCA analog input for turntables (phono preamp required) and other legacy devices; and standard stereo banana plug speaker outputs for reliable connectivity

Measuring 200 x 200 x 63mm, the Vibelink Amp is among the smallest 100W/channel amplifiers available. To manage heat efficiently, Wiim has incorporated copper heat pipes, an aluminium heatsink, and a heat-spreading case.

Additionally, an anti-pop noise design helps ensure smooth transitions between inputs without unwanted sound disruptions.

Wiim offers other amplifier options, such as the AU$579 Wiim Amp Pro, which includes built-in streaming and HDMI support. The Vibelink Amp distinguishes itself by focusing purely on amplification, providing nearly 67% more output than the Wiim Amp Pro.

“For those using devices like the WiiM Mini, Ultra, Pro, or other streaming solutions, we wanted to offer an amp that delivers strong audio performance without requiring Wi-Fi connectivity,” said Wiim CEO Dr. Lifeng Zhao. “This design gives customers more choice in how they configure their setups.”

The Wiim Vibelink Amp is currently available on Amazon US for US$299 and is expected to launch in Australia soon. Based on current exchange rates and regional pricing trends, the amplifier is estimated to retail for around AU$459.
