Something to look forward to: Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event takes place in just a few hours, when the South Korean giant will be unveiling its latest Galaxy smartphones, the Galaxy S25 series. You can watch all the action right here at 1pm ET / 10am PT / 6pm GMT.
While Samsung usually reveals multiple new products at its Unpacked events, the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra will be the stars of the show.
It seems that the trend of new smartphones receiving iterative updates over their predecessors will continue with the S25 series. One of the main changes will be the design, which is said to feature flatter edges and rounded corners. Leaks have also shown that the bezels have somehow been shrunk even further. This will supposedly help make the bodies lighter and slimmer.
Display-wise, the new phones are said to measure 6.2 inches for the Galaxy S25, 6.7 inches for the Galaxy S25 Plus, and 6.9 inches for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, meaning only the Ultra receives a slight increase in size.
All three phones are believed to pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, successor of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in most current flagships.

The camera specs for the S25 and S25 Plus are believed to be unchanged from last year (50MP/12MP/10MP triple lens rear camera with 3x optical zoom). The S25 Ultra, meanwhile, could see its ultra-wide camera upgraded from 12MP to 50MP.
Elsewhere, all three handsets are expected to feature 12GB of RAM, IP68 protection, 25W wired charging on the standard S25 and 45W wired on the Plus and Ultra. They are also expected to feature the Android 15-based One UI 7 and use the same AMOLED 2X WQHD, 120Hz displays found in the S24 series.
Samsung has confirmed that its 2025 Galaxy devices will have Qi2 wireless charging support, though that could mean they need a case to add the magnetic alignment ring.
Starting prices are also expected to remain unchanged or close to the S24 series: $799 for the S25, $999 for the Plus, and $1,299 for the Ultra.
Away from the S25 series, expect to hear plenty more about the next iteration of Galaxy AI, and Samsung might also show off the Galaxy Ring 2.
There has been talk about Samsung launching a Galaxy Slim phone to compete with Apple's rumored iPhone Air, but it'll be a surprise if it's unveiled tonight.
