Lost Soul Aside system requirements revealed, and an RTX 5070 Ti is listed

What are the Lost Soul Aside system requirements for PC? We already have our first game to demand an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 series card in its system requirements, but thankfully it’s only listed for ultra ray tracing performance.

Lost Soul Aside is a PS5 and PC ARPG due out in May but is notable for starting out life as a game in development by just one person back in 2016. As we near the release, it’s been revealed that many Steam users won’t be able to play the game given that its PSN account requirement will limit sales in 130 countries.

The Lost Soul Aside minimum requirements are right on par with most modern 3D games released in the past few years. You’ll only need an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 5500 with an Intel Core i5 10400 or Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. Where gamers with older systems might struggle, however, is the 16GB RAM requirement, as a lot of older systems get by with just 8GB. As for the Lost Soul Aside recommended specs, these only require a jump-up for your graphics card as the CPU requirements remain the same. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700.

We’re also given the Lost Soul Aside high requirements, which take a sizable step up asking for an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 5800 XT paired with an Intel Core i7 11700 or AMD Ryzen 7 5700X.

The Lost Soul Aside high ray tracing requirements take everything from the non-ray tracing settings but crank up the required graphics card to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT.

A bigger story, however, lies in the Lost Soul Aside ultra ray tracing requirements as this is the first time an RTX 5000 card has been listed. You’ll need an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti alongside an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X gaming CPU. The system memory requirement persists meaning you’ll still only need 16GB.

These requirements come from the PlayStation store page, with the Steam store page still only listing the minimum and recommended specs for now. There are also no performance targets listed in the requirements, so it’s hard to know what resolution and frame rate return is expected from any of the above specs.

The Lost Soul Aside download size is a reasonable 80GB, but you are going to need one of the best SSDs for gaming to store it on. It’s become increasingly common for an SSD to be required at all system requirements tiers, and upgrading now will also help improve your loading times in games that don’t require the more modern storage technology.
