Message to motorists from An Garda Síochána Kildare

Gardaí across Kildare recently started the Christmas Road Safety Campaign

Recently, Gardaí from Naas, Co Kildare conducted a number of high-visibility checkpoints across the area.

The aim was to keep Kildare's roads safe, detect drink and drug driving, and monitor the movement of criminal activity.

The message from An Garda Síochána Kildare on the run-up to Christmas is:

“As we approach the busy Christmas period, we remind all road users to

• Never drive under the influence
• Slow down and drive to the conditions
• Wear your seatbelt
• Look out for other road users

Everyone deserves to get home safely this Christmas.
