Manage your Pixel and Nest devices in one place with this new Google tool

Google Your Devices rolling out

by · Tech Advisor

Google looks to be making it a whole lot easier to manage all of your Pixel smartphone and Nest devices in one accessible place.

The search giant has just introduced a new ‘Your Devices’ page to its Google Store website. Or at least, its has in the US.

Android Authority is reporting that it’s live now on the other side of the Atlantic, but we’re not seeing the page here in the UK. Here’s the link, if you want to try for yourself.

What does ‘Your Devices’ entail?

According to the aforementioned report, Your Devices provides detailed information on all of the ‘Made by Google’ devices linked to your Google account.

There are tabs for Phones (like the Pixel 9 Pro), Earbuds (like the Pixel Buds), Tablets (the Pixel Tablet, obviously), Watches & Trackers (such as the Pixel Watch 3) and Smart Home (like the Nest Mini speaker).

Each tab gives you a little thumbnail image of each device, together with the warranty expiry date and an option to View more information such as serial numbers and IMEI.

You can also request support for your device, access Find My Device, order repairs, and manage your Preferred Care options if you have an extended warranty.

Why a Pixel hub is a smart idea

Given how many fingers in pies Google has from a hardware perspective, offering such a device hub feels like a bit of a no-brainer at this point.

We’re expecting to see yet another Pixel device added to the family over the coming weeks, with the announcement of the Pixel 9a hotly tipped for March.

We also wouldn’t completely discount the possibility of more Google hardware being announced at Google I/O, which has been confirmed for Tuesday 20 May and Wednesday 21 May.
