What could 2026 bring for Apple? One report claims to have revealed all.

In his latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman writes that it will be a year of major product launches, new AI features, increased EU pressure on the App Store and the risk of new tariffs.

The first few months of the year are expected to bring a number of new models:

  • iPhone 17e
  • New standard iPad with A18 chip
  • New iPad Air with M4 chip
  • New MacBook Air with M5 chip
  • New MacBook Pros with M5 Pro and M5 Max
  • New smart display

Around March-April, Apple is also expected to launch the completely redesigned version of Siri – part of the Apple Intelligence initiative – along with a new smart display. The latter may include both a speaker base and a wall mount.

As usual, the autumn is expected to be dominated by new iPhone and Apple Watch models. According to Gurman, the iPhone 18 Pro will be the first to drop the Qualcomm modem in favour of Apple’s own C1 chip.

  • iPhone 18 series
  • Apple Watch Ultra 4
  • Apple Watch Series 12
  • New Mac Mini with M5 chip
  • New Mac Studio with M5 chip

An update to the latest M5 iPad Pro isn’t expected until 2027.

By the end of 2026, Apple could unveil the next-generation MacBook Pro, with potential M6 Pro and/or M6 Max chips, an OLED display, touch functionality and a thinner design.

Gurman also believes that Apple could give a first glimpse of its smart glasses before the end of the year and that suppliers have already started producing small volumes.
