OPPO Find X9 Series Global Launch Date Set for Later This Month

OPPO held an event in China earlier today to introduce its latest Find X9 series of flagship smartphones, alongside a bunch of other devices. Soon after launching them in the home market, OPPO announced the global launch date of the new Find X9 series smartphones.

In a blog post, OPPO announced that it has set a global launch date for the Find X9 series flagship smartphones for October 28th. The firm will hold a special global launch event for both the Find X9 and X9 Pro models in Barcelona, Spain, later this month. Apart from the Find X9 series, the brand will also globally debut its latest ColorOS 16 version on the same date.

The company’s latest flagship Find X series phones are currently available to order in China. It’ll start selling them in the home market from October 22nd. OPPO hasn’t yet decided the global markets it’ll sell these phones in.

OPPO Find X9 and X9 Pro highlights

The OPPO Find X9 features a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,600 nits peak brightness. The device features the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and operates on ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16. The phone packs a 7,025mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. For imaging, it includes a 50MP main, 50MP telephoto, and 50MP ultra-wide triple-camera setup.

As for the OPPO Find X9 Pro, it steps up with a 6.78-inch OLED display offering 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also uses the Dimensity 9500 chip, paired with up to 16GB RAM. The phone carries a larger 7,500mAh battery supporting 80W fast and 50W wireless charging.

Its standout feature is the 200MP telephoto camera, alongside a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with Hasselblad color tuning and OIS. It also offers IP69-rated protection and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Global launch dates and pricing availability are expected to be confirmed in the weeks ahead.
